Why do you need an isolation box to record the guitar
Most guitarists know that to hit the "sweet" point of your amplifier have to be a fairly high volume, but the question is, how to achieve these high volumes of study when you live in a house with other people or in a block of apartments?
Well, there are a few different ways. It's about creating a kind of isolation box and place inside the amplifier. The other method is to move the amplifier to another room or closet and deaden the sound with blankets. But why not have the best of both worlds, and place your amplifier in an isolation box, in another room.
What is good in isolators? -
– They allow you to actually turn the volume without disturbing the neighbors
– Roommates and housemates hear the amp to only a moderately high level
– Simple and easy to build
– Hotels Cheap
– It adapts to any room as a closet
– Control your environment – most professional studios are acoustically and scientifically design and treaties that costs huge amounts of money. You may try an acoustic isolation box for a fraction of the cost, giving the environment perfect to record in.
An insulated box is basically a simple wooden box four-sided, large enough to fit inside your amplifier. The walls isolation box everyone should be covered with acoustic foam, has a hinged lid and small hole for cables. If you find the type of soil you have (carpet, tiles, etc) is adding or removing the sound can always withstand the amplifier in a blanket or a little more foam.
Building Tips –
The use of 1.5 "of coarse particles (the thickness and the same amount of wood as you can afford). Some stores do not have 1.5" particles or MDF. However, you should be able to 1 "of particles in a common store, call around your local hardware store or lumber yard – find many wood cut to desired size.
Make about 6 feet long, 3.75 "tall, deep 3 '- check what size is necessary for a 4×12 cabinet. Bigger is usually better as it allows you to use different or more than one amplifier, and also allows a large amount of space your micing if you choose to use more than one microphone.
With an amplifier or cabinet put in the isolation box that you want to ride off the ground. The reason of this is, some frequencies can be amplified by the earth causing the microphone to pick up the sound again. If you ground up a little you'll hear an real representation of what you are doing your amplifier.

Remember to make a hole large enough to meet their cables. As an additional layer sound insulation may want to place a thick blanket over the whole box or the place of isolation box in a closet.
